GSOC from a Mentor’s Perspective

February 25, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Greetings from Web Enthusiasts’ Club NITK 👨‍💻

Interested in Open Source but confused about how to approach it? Or just heard about a program called GSoC and want to give it a shot. Either way, we’ve got you covered.

Software Freedom Month is an event consisting of talks and interactions aimed at spreading awareness about Open Source and Google Summer of Code(GSoC), as well as assisting applicants in navigating the process.

Under this initiative, we bring to you a talk by Dr. Mohit P. Tahiliani, CSE Dept. Mohit Sir has been a long-standing maintainer of the ns-3 Open Source project and has also mentored GSoC projects under the same. Be sure to tune in to gain insights into his perspective as a mentor and pointers for applying to GSoC.

Join the MS team to attend the talk and for more updates – https://bit.ly/join-open-source-nitk
